Virgin Galactic rolled out the second of its SpaceShipTwo spaceplanes on Friday (Feb. 19) and christened the ship the ‘VSS Unity.’ Founder Richard Branson’s one-year-old granddaughter and famed physicist Stephen Hawking helped in the vehicle’s introduction. Four years in the making, the VSS Unity follows Virgin Galactic’s first ship, Enterprise, which was lost in a 2014 accident.
