Asteroids:
There will be a asteroid pass Earth today at a distance of 6.16LD.
Solar Winds:
Late on May 25th, Earth will cross a region of space filled with negative polarity magnetic fields. This could open a crack in Earth’s magnetosphere. With this and the solar wind that should reach Earth on the 26-27, we could have G1-class storms.
Sunspots:
AR2546 is the only sunspot on the solar disk and it is still quiet at this time.
Planets:
Mars will make it’s closest approach to Earth since 2003 on May 30th.
Earthquakes:
There has been 5 quakes of 4+ magnitude in the last 12 hours.
