Asteroids:
There are a few asteroids showing inside 10LD over the next 7 days. Today 6-6 there is one passing Earth at a distance of 2.94LD, 6-7 has one passing close at .37LD, 6-9 has one at 5.86LD, 6-11 has one at 5.73, and 6-13 has one at 9.67LD. This makes for a busy week and that’s just the ones we know about.
Solar Winds:
A stream of solar wind is sparking geomagnetic storms around the poles. Last night there was an outburst of auroras over Antarctica.
Sunspots:
On June 3rd, the sunspot number dropped to 0, and the solar disk is still blank. The solar cycle swings between high and low sunspot numbers every 11 years. the next Solar Minimum should arrive in 2019-2020. With fewer sunspots, there will be more deep-space radiation.
Earthquakes:
There have been 9 quakes of 4+ magnitude and 2 quakes of 6+ magnitude in the last 12 hours.
