Asteroids: There are 3 asteroids under 10 (LD) so far in October. They are (2016 SR2) size 23 meters on the 7th at the distance of 3.77 (LD). Also on the 7th is (2016 TG) size 36 meters at the distance of 8.05 (LD). The third is (2016 TC) size 27 meters on the 8th at the distance of 7.17 (LD).

Storms: Tropical Storm Chaba is headed northeast and forecast to make landfall near Mt. Takadate, Japan. Hurricane Matthew (Category 3 for now) is heading for the central and northwestern Bahamas. Florida and up the east coast will need to keep a watch on this storm. Tropical Storm Nicole is holding steady in strength.
