It’s the closest the Moon has been to Earth since 1948.
Appearing bigger and brighter, the Moon won’t look this super again until 2034.
You can go out on Saturday night, Sunday night or Monday night and as long as there is a clear sky when the Moon is up, you’re going to get to see a Moon that’s 14% bigger and 30% brighter.
WHEN TO SEE THIS SUPERMOON:
To get the most out of Monday’s apparition you can try to catch the Moon just as it is rising. A perigee Moon magnified by the Moon Illusion could look super, indeed.

Just told my two kids as we were watching the ‘supermoon’ getting closer last night, that we’d see an appreciable quake this weekend….and here’s about a sizeable quake that just hit Japan:

The Moon doesn’t just tug on trillions of tons of sea water. You see, the earth’s crust is so very thin….(insert drum roll here)…How thin? If the earth were shrunk to the size of a chicken’s egg, it’s crust would be 3 to 4 times thinner than the egg shell. If it were the size of a classroom globe, the crust would be thinner than your finger nail. Yeah, that thin! So, don’t fall for the “science” that the moon can move countless tons of sea water but not pull on the liquid rock just beneath that thin dust and crust veneer of an egg shell we live on. I’ve been able to call quakes almost like clockwork since these changes began by simply observing the new Sun, Earth, Moon relationship. What we are witnessing are the ‘birth pangs’ of a much greater cataclysm to unfold.
Read Luke 21:25-28…
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
We are seeing those signs and have been for some time….the increased quakes, the “roaring and tossing of the sea” in the form of much changed oceanic currents, rogue waves and Tsunami. And our planet and the others are changing their orbital positions. “the heavenly bodies are shaken”.
So, in the final analysis, (sad little pun intended) one may choose to sit down, give up and hang their head between their knees, (kissing one’s own arse goodbye totally optional and not recommended) OR….
How about taking the Word of the One True God, our Creator, who caringly warned us that these days would arrive, and STAND UP and LIFT UP our heads, and RAISE our VOICES too?
