Sony and NASA will be sending the new science fiction film “Passengers” to the International Space Station for the astronauts and cosmonauts to screen. In the movie, which opens (on Earth) Dec. 21, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are interstellar travelers on a 120-year journey to colonize an exoplanet, a plot that incorporates research that NASA is advancing.
