Too close for comfort!
Two Asteroids Buzz Earth in a One Two Punch – They will Pass Extremely near our Planet, at 0.1 and 1.0 LD.
Asteroid 2017 BH30 is Set to Pass extremely close to Earth Jan. 30. The space rock was first observed by Catalina Sky Survey on 2017-01-29. It will fly by Earth on Jan. 30 at 0.1 times the distance to the Moon at a speed (relative to the Earth) of 15.6 km/s. It is estimated to be 4.6 m – 10 meters in size. Condition code of 6.
