Ramsgate, Britain once one of the great seaside towns of the 19th century must have the most overworked police force in the United Kingdom. With closed circuit camera’s (CCTV) on every corner and city council snoops everywhere, nothing gets by the many eyes of the law. To get around public concerns you are told that all is for the safety of the public and not to worry that your every move is monitored for after all you live in a free society, a society that is the envy of the free world. All good stuff you would think, but I do not think little Lily-May Allen a 10 year old girl would agree with that after Kent police issued her a warning of criminal damage while she played on the pavement outside her house.
