(Before It's News)

Sixty years after the overthrow of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh, a declassified CIA document acknowledges that the agency was involved in the 1953 coup.

The documents, declassified in 2011 and given to George Washington University research group under the Freedom of Information Act, come from the CIA’s internal history of Iran from the mid-1970s and paint a detailed picture of how the CIA worked to ouster Mossadegh.

So the Iran we now have is essentially blowback from what we did back in 1953 which explains why we demonize the hell out of Iranian leaders and their so called nuclear program.  We want to invade that place because right now the Iranians are on top.  They counter-couped the coup.  All the CIA does is meddle in the affairs of other nations.  I say we abolish them.  Abolish the NSA too.  What good do they serve?   None.  -Mort
