From the very first day we arrive on this planet we start looking at everything as different. We are taught that different is better, thus we start to accumulate “things” instead of heart felt friends and love ones.
We’re told to focus on differences, instead of seeing what we have in common.
Later we ignore the feelings and pains of others… and start the process of no longer relating to our own vulnerability.
Thus we feel “ALONE”, and want someone to repair the whole in our chest, yet we can’t related to simple feelings; a loving touch on the shoulder; or a kindness given without asking anything in return.
Yes we need to feel distinctive, but at what price?
Losing our ability to share our deepest feelings comes with a huge price… we feel disconnected from humanity.
In general people want to help other people, feel connected, and do what’s right.
We want to belong to the family of MANKIND… and feel good inside.
Thus we find the Divine essence of who we really are… connected to God, the Tao, and the Universe.
