Feeling bad? Bad feelings are good! – Uncovering the truth of yourself through your feelings.
Our bad feelings are a natural part of us, so to deny them, we’re denying ourselves. We feel bad for very important reasons, it’s our system trying to tell us that something is not right within us. So if we overlook our bad feelings, dismissing and banishing them, blocking them out and refusing to acknowledge them because we don’t want to feel bad, then we’re going against our own inbuilt warning signals that all is not right.
So our bad feelings are not ‘bad’, they are in fact, very good, and we need them all. However we don’t just have to live at the mercy of them, we can use them to help us understand what’s not right within us. And how we do that, once we’ve accepted they are there and we’re feeling them and not trying to get rid of them, is by expressing them, emoting and speaking about them, allowing them to have their say, yet all whilst we want to know what it is they are trying to show us about ourselves – what they are trying to tell us. If we don’t want know the truth of what we are feeling – the underlying reasons why we are feeling bad, then we can speak about them all day long but not get anywhere so far as uncovering such reasons. So it’s very important that if we want to use our bad (and good feelings) to help us uncover the truth of ourselves, we long with all our will to find it through our feelings as we express them.
Our feelings are the way to the truth – not our mind.
If you’re interested in using your feelings to uncover the truth of yourself, to find the reasons why you are not right and why you feel bad, then you are most welcome to visit…
