(Before It's News)
The obvious and undisputed truth — Luke and Mark were NEVER apostles, nor present at the last supper!
Proof of a Pharisee conspiracy…because the 1st day of the Feast of unleavened bread (with Passover lamb) IS A SABBATH, so the disciples would never speculate that Jesus had asked Judas to buy preparations if Luke’s story was true:
“And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this PASSOVER with you before I suffer” Luke 22:15
That impossible scenario to keep Jesus from dying as the Passover Lamb and fulfilling Scripture is corrected by trusting His apostle John:
“Now BEFORE THE FEAST OF THE PASSOVER, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. And SUPPER being ended,…”
John 13:1
(Washes disciples’ feet)
27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, BUY THOSE THINGS THAT WE HAVE NEED OF AGAINST THE FEAST; or, that he should give something to the poor.
30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and IT WAS NIGHT.
John 13
Jesus, the Passover lamb, was sacrificed on the 14th of Abib before sunset…the Feast of Unleavened bread includes roasted lamb on that first night, the 15th of Abib (starting at sunset, i.e. night), EXACTLY as Exodus records when the Israelites left Egypt at night.
John chapters 18 & 19 are likewise clear that Jesus was sacrificed on the preparation day when the lambs were slaughtered, just before the Sabbath began at sunset…at which time the Passover was eaten with unleavened bread. But the faithful were made unclean by contact with His crucified body, so had to wait until the 2nd month to eat the second Passover with the resurrected Christ.
