Ravens turn up heat on Elam again

Grantland writer, Bill Barnwell, ranks the value of every team’s collection of draft picks in 2015. The Ravens come in with the 14th most valuable sum. That’s pretty impressive for a team in the 26th slot. Only one playoff team holds more value in draft picks than the Ravens – and only by a small margin. LINK

Ravens Plan to Add Running Back Depth
According to Garrett Downing of BaltimoreRavens.com, you should expect the Ravens to add a running back to the roster in the next few weeks. This is stemming from Harbaugh’s comments during the owners’ meetings, “We need more running back depth.” I’m not sure that running back is their top priority in free agency with the more pressing needs at wide receiver and tight end, especially when you consider all of the running back options in the draft. Sarah Ellison of BaltimoreRavens.com discusses the situation at wide receiver and how it has been a while since the Ravens have invested in one for Joe Flacco. The wide receiver position only accounted for $7.036M of the Ravens’ 2015 salary cap, which ranks 27th in the NFL. LINK
