The Chicago Cubs are planning on celebrating their World Series title on both Monday, April 10 and Wednesday April 12. The team will raise the new banner on Monday before their game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and then hand out rings to players before Wednesday’s game against the Dodgers as well. When they do so, the Cubs will be sporting a new jersey. The team revealed it will wear their home white jersey with gold numbers, lettering and logo. The jersey will also feature a World Series patch. Check it out below: https://twitter.com/Cubs/status/845319679597953024 Personally, I love the new look for the two games. It could have very well been an all-gold theme but instead the Cubs managed to not go way too overboard. The best part is that fans will be able to buy this special version of the jersey. They will go on sale Saturday morning on MLB.com and the team’s flagship store on Michigan Ave. Good Luck as they are likely to sell out.
