Flagler County emergency operations chief Troy Harper says his center received at least a dozen calls from residents who reported feeling the rumbling Friday morning.
Emergency management officials are investigating, but federal officials already have ruled out an earthquake since there was no seismic activity in the area at the time.
Harper says no damage was reported.
Residents’ reports came primarily from the northeastern part of the county.
