Witness Statement: I live just off Roman Rd and was standing at my back door, after letting the dog out. I looked to the west where the sun was going down and spotted a black, sphere shaped object in the sky. It made no noise at all and was lower than your average plane. At first I thought it may have been a ballon or lantern but it seemed too large. After watching it for about ten seconds it darted very quicky vertically then quicky back again. It then change shape horizontally and looked cigar shaped. I went and got my camera and shouted my girlfriend from upstairs. I took some pictures on my camera and will upload these as soon as I can. My girlfriend saw it just too just to prove I ain’t going bonkers. It then started moving closer towards where the sun was setting. At this point I ran to the front of the house, got in my car and followed it’s flight path as it seemed to head over towards the horizon over Witton Park. I pulled over to set my camera to record and as I looked up again it just disappeared.
