Witness Statement: Last Saturday evening around 22:00 Iwas at home with my wife and a friend watching a movie. I got up to close the patio doors and looked up to the stars as it was a clear night. I saw a large white light coming across the sky silently from Cranfield direction heading toward shorts town. It was unusual as it was quite low and fast and silent going over the houses. The brightness stayed constant as it passed over my house at around maybe 2000 feet altitude. There were no red or green flashing lights and no visible wingsjust a bright white light about 5-6 times the size of the largest star in the sky. I called my friend James out to take a look pointing out no noise or flashing lights to him. He just dismissed it but admitted there were no flashing lights or no sound evident. The object continued to move at a constant speed and luminosity until it went out of view heading toward Shortstown. Did anyone else see anything over Bedford area that night?
