Having a small nursing baby again has reminded me again what a lucky thing it is to be a woman and this is I think really political and relevant. At the heart of feminism is the lie that females will find justification in imitating and competing with males– a trick to usurp their physical and cultural reproductive power and render it in service to would be enslavers. It´s of course absurd. Asking someone to constantly fail something they will never achieve is hardly a self-esteem booster. But there is something in the female condition that makes them really vulnerable to persuasion to enter this trap. Ask Eve. Anyway, sorry ladies but let´s see, feminist buzzwords “strong” “powerful” “independent” nope. nope. nope. Why play games you can´t win?
Here are some games you can win:
Beauty– lots of women complain about their figures etc. Imagine if you looked in the mirror and saw a man? I mean maybe it would be nice, I have no idea. Certainly some men are very handsome, but still it´s not the same I´m sure.
Children and babies– have you ever seen a man care for a baby? all thumbs. Very funny. How could people otherwise so intelligent miss so many details. We alone are entrusted with the next generation. Could any other duty be such an amazing mix of pure love and awesome responsibility?
Feelings– Humans derive pleasure and meaning from emotional interactions with each other, and we have the advantage of a more comfortable relationship with our own feelings. My husband claims he has none. “But I love you…”
Rule the Rulers– Who cares if men think they are in charge? Plenty easy to get them to do what you want, no? (-:
Ok back to the baby
