Witness Statement: Tonight I went out in the garden and my partner said he saw a flash in the sky. I didn’t believe him but about 5 minutes later I saw the same thing but close to the tree line. Over the next two hours, these large contained flashes of light kept appearing on the horizon but over about a 50 mile space. They were green to start with but then later a red/orange colour. No sound or loud bangs so not fireworks. So very strange.
