So I'm off and writing! I've got the prologue and chapter one banged out.
Lady knows the dreary weather and pre-holiday doldrums are setting in and having a focus for the month could be a very good thing. My husband promises not to make fun of me– and that's a pretty big deal actually. I've taken enough heat from my oh-so-supportive family for years along the lines of, “Yeah– she thinks she's going to write the next great American novel!” *scoff* I've never made any such claim, I just like to write– yet the derisive attitude deflated my confidence long before I ever really made an effort.
I promise I won't go on and on about this… just the first and last day of the month, I swear! Wish me motivation!
