Witness Statement: Did anyone else see what I saw while I was waiting for the AA to rescue me. I witnessed a perfectly round blue light, about the size of a small football travel at speed, just above tree height and moving south to north. Not so fast that it could be explained away as a trick of light, but fast enough to be in my line of sight for approx 5 seconds, before disappearing into the trees to my left. I seriously expected to see a ball of flames in the distance as what looked like an aircraft hit the ground, but their was no sound at all. Can anyone out there confirm what I saw.
