Witness Statement: On night duty and whilst standing at the front door at KY7 4UA i observed an orange red spherical shape traverse the skyline from West to east. The initial climb was consistent with an aircraft, however the ensuing altitude, speed and consistency of the light/glow was not. The sphere appeared to have a projection in front of it which obviously disappeared from my view as my angle of sight changed. The UFO climbed again far from my view point and was lost to mu view. At no time were any nav lights visible, the object remained illuminated constantly.
