Legalized Foolywang
Many citizens of Denver, Colorado were ecstatic with the recent passing of Amendment 64 to legalize the use of marijuana. But for marijuana smokers, this may not mean easy access to their drug of choice. Right now, it’s only available to licensed medical marijuana patients (hmmm….wonder how many of those prescriptions are legit). So what do you do if you live in Colorado and you can’t get your hands on some of that oooh wee (in the words of Snoop Dogg)? THC University to the rescue. Yep, THC University is Colorado’s first professional marijuana cultivationtraining program. Not only can you smoke marijuana as a favorite pass time, but now you can have a certification of higher education that proves that you really know how to use it. WTH?! What is the world coming to?
In case you’re scratching your head right now wondering how this works, a class of about 20 students in “Growing Marijuana 101″ will be more than happy to tell you….or better yet, show you. Not only should you know where your weed (hopefully you don’t smoke it) comes from, you should also know how to cultivate it, find organic versions, and tender to its growing stages with some real TLC. THC U has no official accreditation, but students have fun learning how to be an expert marijuana…..dare I say it, farmer???
