Witness Statement: Myself & my Mrs.walking our dog along by the Excel center as we usually do,we stopped by the footbridge across the dock to have a cigarette,it was very windy with intermittent cloud and lots of open patches of sky that was very clear this morning,looking south we saw the usual aircraft traffic circling and waiting to land at Heathrow,looking straight up in the sky we saw a yellowy white object moving from north to south,first glance i thought it was a satelite ,but the glow was much larger and more intense and was moving at a terrific speed ,not in a straight line ,but changes in direction,there was a plane making its approach to Heathrow moving from east to west and the object seemed to slow for a second and veer away from the plane that was cutting across its path,..im sure the pilot of the plane must have seen this object as it shot across his flightpath,the object changed course slightly,still moving south,and disappeared to the right of the moon . Definately not a satellite,definateley not a chinese lantern.
