James BraveWolf begins our Through The Obsidian podcast with an excellent, brief and very personal monologue dealing with the social engineers at Esalen and the manipulation of humanity through drugs, UFOs and the new age movement. As many readers are aware, I have written about Esalen in the past as being one of the most influential centers of counter-tradition today. James does a wonderful job of summing up the counter-initiatory currents so prevalent in modern thought and spirituality.
