We all have a burning desire for it. Sometimes we crave it in the middle of the night. We snap at people when we don’t get it when we want it. We will stop at nothing to have it and dare someone to ask us to share. Yep, you guessed it. Those guilty pleasures. Food pleasures that is. We all have favorite foods that we know we shouldn’t eat, but we just can’t tear ourselves away from them. I’ll be transparent and name a few foods of mine that I just can’t control myself on: Doritos chips, mac n cheese, fried seafood, Symphony chocolate bars, and the list goes on and on. The most important thing is not avoiding those indulging moments. But the real trick is to use that word we love to hate, moderation. Meet 64-year-old Dennis Rosenlof . He obviously has no concept of moderation and has been in love with the Big Mac for over 30 years. He’s sold out, committed and head over heels for that simple McDonald’s burger.
Ok, so you may be thinking, “What’s the big deal? Everyone likes a Big Mac every now and then”. True…..but not 12,000. That’s approximately how many Big Macs Dennis has eaten. He’s got it down to a science and even has a weekly schedule of how he eats them. Monday he eats one Big Mac, two on Tuesday, one on Wednesday, two on Thursday, one or two on Friday and two on Saturday.
