Did A Man Named Thomas Crapper Invent The Modern Toilet

Was Thomas Crapper a real person? Yes he was. Did he invent the modern toilet? The jury is still out on that one. But we do know that Thomas Crapper was a real person who really was a plumber in London U.K. But beyond that is where the story gets cloudy and we can get confused real fast.

Thomas Crapper lived a long life. He was born in 1837 and lived until 1910. But a lot of what Thomas Crapper did during his life is still not known. For years people said there was no such person but yes there was and yes he was a plumber and an inventor so maybe just maybe Thomas Crapper did invent the modern toilet.

We do know that Crapper did own a London Plumbing Company in 1861. We know he believed in the supernatural and the paranormal and he sold special caskets with a device that alloweed the person inside to pull a rope and ring a bell above ground in case they were buried alive. But did he invent the toilet?
