Above is the official marker of the Mantell Incident. See it really did happen. A U.S. Military Pilot was shot down and killed by a UFO over Ft Knox Kentucky. And not many Americans even have a ideal that the incident happened.
On the afternoon of January 5th 1948 Captain Thomas Mantell Jr. died while chasing a UFO over Ft Knox Kentucky and while you may have never heard of this incident it really did happen. Captain Mantell was killed that afternoon and a lot of people say he was shot down by the UFO he was chasing at the time his P51 Mustang fell out of the sky.
