The Ghosts Of Alcatraz, Banjo Playing Al Capone And More

The old closed down Federal Prison known as Alcatraz and in San Francisco Harbor is supposed to be one of America’s most haunted places. Any where that you have that much misery and death your going to have ghosts and paranormal activity. Over the years there have been many reports of ghosts at Alcatraz Prison. There were even reports of ghosts and paranormal activity even before the prison closed.

 

One of the most famous ghosts most often reported at Alcatraz is Al Capone the infamous gangster who did time here and is said to be the ghost playing the banjo here at Alcatraz. Over the years many people have reported hearing the banjo being played and most people say it is Al Capone playing the banjo.

 

People who visit the prison often tell of being touched, of men in prison uniforms walking around, of men crying and begging for mercy and much more. Some people have claimed to see a yellow cat near the old medical building that is said to walk straight into and through a wall.
