The Washington State officer says he leaves gifts of food for them in a location up in the North Cascade mountains, has gotten within 20 feet of them and has heard them speak to each other in what sounds like a mix of Native American and Asian language. My Dad used to visit one near the River and bring it things once in a while. He would drive real slow creeping back and forth down this long dirt road in the area where it usually was. If in a half hour it didn’t show itself he’d leave. I really wont say where this was because most aren’t gonna believe it and then you have the few loons that’ll flood the area some wanting to murder it. There’s no official reports in the area and hopefully it stays that way, the less people know the better. If they trust you, don’t betray them.
