Pouring Rain Like Tears
I had another rough week. When things get tough, its hard for me to write much. I'll be back-dating a few entries and catching up soon, I'm just not there yet.
Meanwhile, just wanted to comment that the weather is crazy. El Nino is definitely sending us ungodly amounts of rain. We were parched after last year's low-rain, high heat year though so its hard to complain. The mountains are getting tons of snow after mere inches in some places last fall/winter/spring. The winds and rains are just drenching, temps are in the low 60s/upper 50s and its bad enough that flooding is everywhere and a SINKHOLE opened up a couple of miles from where I used to live several years ago on the outskirts of Gresham, east of Portland!! I mean right on the street where I lived! Its crazy to see that– I've never even seen a sinkhole before except in photographs from places far from here.
So… I'm cozied up at home most of the time, just keeping myself busy and trying to keep on an even keel.
