The People In My Life– As Sims Characters!
I've neglected this blog (and several others) for too long and I feel like I owe it and my readers something fun as a little extra. Not to mention it wouldn't be a bad idea for me to refresh this or try something new…
People are very visual, so what if I gave a description of many of the people in my life along with an illustration? I can't draw, but I can make Sims 3 characters that are eerily close, if I do say so myself!
So I'm thinking that once or twice a week, I'll post a Sim image along with my fake name (or nickname) of various people I know and tell the story of that person and how they affected my life and where things stand with that person now.
I'd like to go over a lot of people, present their stories from my perspective, and allow readers (and future me) a way to gauge who is who and where relationships are at and all of that.
Faces to go with the names I've given people… but only depictions, not actual photographs (though some have given me permission to use their photos in this blog– I still don't use their real names.)
I know its kind of silly, but it seems like a fun way to get back into the groove and get my inner narrator thrumming again.
Any of my friends out there with Sims can post something similar and I'd love to see the people in your life, too! Or– hey, your inner world of people if you do IFS or are a multiple (I may pursue that at some point, but I'll start with flesh and blood people first.)
I will even include some sims who look like the alien hybrids, Diana and Christopher Robin, or like Dark Gerick or Ethan the human looking aliens. They're a challenge to make in Sims 3, but its maybe the best way to tell you what these unusual people look like.
I'm such a geek…. but I'm okay with that! =^D
