The Trump/Clinton Debate
*Shaking my head*
Many heavy sighs…
I won't do the normal political opinions here, suffice it to say that its easy to see things are a-changin', because I can't even imagine a debate like this before this last year.
On the plus side, it would have been perfect fodder for a drinking game had I been socializing with friends during the viewing!
I think everyone was watching to see what Trump would do. He was pretty hilarious during the Republican debates when I wasn't invested in any of those candidates. This time, he made some points in the first half, but pretty much got garbled and confusing in the second half. Typical of many narcissists, he refused to prepare much, unable to imagine a scenario where he wasn't AMAZING.
And Clinton–? Hmmm. She was the sane one, obviously. But… just… dammit. I so wish it was Sanders up there. Or Elizabeth Warren. Why did SHE have to be the hope of all civilization?
