IFS Dream Guides: So Far
I'm not feeling up to doing any more Shadow work today. Instead, I want to review the Guides I've met in dreams so far…
They seem to be based upon the chakras and their colors thus far. These guides actually introduced themselves along with roses (the western version of a lotus) in the color. All except for Summers, the Green Guide, who went about things more roundabout.
So far, the Guides I've met/identified are:
WHITE: This is Mimi White (appears as Mimi Rogers). She seems to be the part of me spiritually connected to the God/dess of the Universe. She seems wise, loving, yet serious and calm.
BLUE: This is Andie Blue (who appears as Andie MacDowell). She's concerned with my ability to express and perform. Music, dance, singing, speaking and writing are all under her purview. She got me into the symbolism of blue roses (which represent impossible dreams made manifest) and told me huge kettle drums are my instruments (spiritually) not violins or flutes.
GREEN: And of course, Summers Green (who appears as Lindsay Wagner). You've met her recently! In dreams, she does seem to rotate around issues of the heart, which incidentally are connected to both nature AND feminism! Kindness, compassion, and nurturing are under her domain as well.
ORANGE: Can't forget Bela Orange (an actress named Bela from the 80s)! She's mainly drawn my attention to issues of health and security, pointing out problems with both and introducing me to my immune system.
Of course, that leaves Violet, Yellow, and Red still unknown. They must exist, and I'm hoping they introduce themselves soon! I admit I'm curious what celebrity icons are chosen for those images.
