Freedom Group Names Danny Evans Director of Consumer and Retail Parts

Madison, NC – -(Ammoland.com)- Freedom Group, Inc. (FGI), the firearms industry leader with brands including Remington, Bushmaster, DPMS and Marlin, has named Danny Evans as its Director of Consumer and Retail Parts.
Evans has over 20 years of industry experience and has successfully managed numerous divisions during his tenure with Remington including, Consumer and Customer Service, Arms Service Parts and Repair, Field Service Support, Armorers Training Division, SWS Assembly, Product Service, Warehousing and Distribution and Logistics.
“In order to create a division for all FGI original equipment parts and a corresponding retail market, we needed a proven leader with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in both equipment and industry commerce,” said Scott Blackwell, President of FGI. “Danny’s background and his long-term commitment to servicing our customer base make him a strong fit for this new position.”
Evans will begin his new role immediately and will report directly to Ross Saldarini, Senior Vice President for Accessories and Lifestyle. He will oversee the expansion of the business unit, bringing dedicated focus to the parts category, initiating new product offerings and substantially increasing availability of the current brands to the various market channels. This will provide revenue growth opportunities in a previously undeveloped category.
