(Before It's News)

550 Paracord is a fantastically versatile and amazingly strong cord that consists of an outer sheath surrounding seven smaller inner cords.  This cord can be used for lashing, stringing up a survival shelter, snares, and of course paracord bracelets.  This is some tough cord–the 550 in the name refers to the minimum breaking point of this cord at 550 lbs.  That’s a lot of poundage for such a small diameter cord.  Paracord is a survivalist’s staple cordage, so in case you don’t have any yet, I have another guess the prep item giveaway and the prize is a 1000′ roll of 550 paracord in a nice camo color from CampingSurvival!  That’s a lot of bracelets . . . or of course you could use it however you like.

To enter, all you need to do is guess the mystery preparedness item pictured below.  It is a preparedness item commonly found in an emergency kit.  If you have no idea, take your best guess.  That will unlock more ways to enter like sharing this post or liking my facebook page.  Please don’t guess in the comments–use the form so everyone has the same disadvantage! :)   You can click the picture to make it bigger although it’s already way-too-close-and-bigger-than-life right here in the post.

Guess this preparedness item to be entered to win!

This giveaway will run through next Friday, September 21st, so get guessing!
