USA 9/1/2012: ‘September is EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS MONTH’ – NO Food Storage = Fool
September 1, 2012
Summer is about to end, and as we prepare for Labor Day on Monday, we once again remind all of our readers that the month of September is EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS MONTH.
It doesn’t take a lot of reminding anymore to our readers that we are living in unprecedented times in world history.
The threat of nuclear war in the Middle East has never been more real and possible in our generation. Earthquakes of tremendous magnitude are triggering across the globe like never before and earthquake swarms in the Southern regions, like California, are becoming commonplace news reports on local TV stations.
The threat of terrorism in our major metropolitan cities has reached such a level of concern, that Los Angeles Police last week issued a warning from local radio stations, that credible and active terrorist plots were underway in the Southland – Target: Los Angeles.
To begin our posting and reminders to all US families on the importance of having EMERGENCY FOOD RESERVE STORAGE at the top of the preparation plans, we re-air the DePaul READY Video on Preparedness.
If you have never taken EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS seriously, NOW is the time. Go-Foods Global has made storing and purchasing high quality dehydrated foods that retain product/nutrition integrity for 25 years, easy.
NO longer do you need to store canned goods, and check expiration dates on cans. Once you have secured and stored your food reserves, you have peace of mind and are ready for any unforeseen event or disaster that may occur in your family/city.
College Students leaving home and embarking on their first journey in freedom, MUST have a supply of emergency food storage secured in their dorm rooms. Many terrorism experts believe that future terrorist attacks in the US will target our school children and college students.
We can vouch for the Go-Foods Global Products. We eat them several times a week and we continue to allocate a portion of our monthly budget to continue our on-going storage reserves. We are making sure that our family and close friends are taken care of in the event our resources are needed in the future!

Even though it is unlikely that an emergency would cut off your food supplies for two weeks, consider maintaining a supply that will last that long.
You may not need to go out and buy foods to prepare an emergency food supply. You can use the canned goods, dry mixes, and other staples on your cupboard shelves.
Having an ample supply of clean water is a top priority in an emergency. A normally active person needs to drink at least 2 quarts (a half gallon) of water each day. You will also need water for food preparation and hygiene. Store at least an additional half-gallon per person, per day for this.
Store at least a 3-day supply and consider storing a two-week supply of water for each member of your family. If you are unable to store this much, store as much as you can. You can reduce the amount of water your body needs by reducing activity and staying cool.
And don’t forget to take your pets and service animals into account!
