If you watch your local newspaper closely, you might find out about a workshop or class on disaster preparedness near you. You can also find out about preparedness classes and meet-ups in Prepare Magazine.
Larger expos for preppers are popping up more frequently around the country as well. It’s not possible for me to tell you about all of them. It’s likely I’d miss one if I tried. But here are a couple I know of which are coming up in September.
