Could You Survive a Nuclear Meltdown?

(Before It's News)

Ever since the Fukushima reactor meltdown after the Japanese tsunami in 2011, there has become a renewed focus on the effects of a meltdown at a nuclear power plant. Though the odds of a nuclear power plant failing and melting down are low, under the right circumstances (such as an earthquake or a terrorist attack), it can lead to a catastrophe. The most devastating effect is not the explosion that may occur when a nuclear power plant fails, but the burst of radiation into the atmosphere that ensues after the meltdown.

Fear not, though, because the following graphic will show you how to survive and persevere through a nuclear holocaust. Most of the tools you need can be easily found at your local superstore, and most of the things you need to do are common-sense, easy tasks to perform. Essentially, if you treat radiation and nuclear fallout as really deadly dust, you can prepare yourself well from such an event.
