Ronkonkoma, NY --(Ammoland.com)- Long Island Firearms, New York’s foremost online firearms enthusiast community has been nominated for the Best of Long Island.

A local website is making strides for the NRA and the Second Amendment on traditionally gun-unfriendly Long Island, New York. The website, Long Island Firearms has been nominated to the “Long Island’s Best” ballot list in the ‘best website’ category.

The survey, sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union, is a popular Long Island publication that ranks popular local businesses and services. Long Island Firearms, the flagship website, and the Long Island Second Amendment Preservation Association had already been making waves in the New York area by assisting in the ongoing Westchester Case (Kachalsky V. Cacace), and now they have the chance to hit the New York area headlines again.

For the Firearms Community on Long Island, nomination to the list represents the ever increasing support for firearms rights in an area where firearms might have been considered taboo for such a widely publicized list just a few years ago. Needless to say, a number one spot win would be a benchmark for freedom and local firearms rights awareness.
