I realize lately that I have been writing quite a bit about gun control, the 2nd Amendment and all other related topics. I am very passionate about this issue, as I’m sure you are. I also realize that variety is the spice of life and will strive to continue to publish articles which are prepper related (but not gun related) here soon. Additionally if any of you would like to submit an article based on your experiences or expertise, please don’t hesitate to do so! It’s really not as hard as you might think and the information will be well received by the readers, this I promise. Later in the week I plan on publishing a great reloading article submitted by JM. If you have something to submit shoot it over to [email protected].

Prepper Deals out on the Internet:
Ammo to go has EOTECH optics in stock with decent pricing. If you are looking for an optic for your AR, these are simply amazing.
Options for parents who want that extra level of protection for their kids, Level IIIA bullet proof backpacks are available for less than $300 at Bullet Blocker.
Current events and opinion:
10 things the end of the world won’t tell you
PJ: Personally I’m not going to work on Friday, the article suggests otherwise.
McMansions Return: Big Houses Come Back
PJ: Far be it from me to tell people what they can and cannot own, but anyone with an ounce of sense would see that this is not the time to be pulling out a massive mortgage on a McMansion for a family of 4. I have a pretty decently sized 4 bedroom home and it is almost too big for our family of 3. I sometimes wish we could downsize to something more manageable on 10 to 20 acres of land.
Ed Schultz on Gun Control: Confiscate “Asssault Weapons” and Kill The Second Amendment
PJ: Ed wonders why anyone should own an “assault rifle.” Well Ed, I own one because I can, because I live in America. He along with many others, are chanting for the confiscation of said weapons. I’m wondering if they would change their tune if they were the ones who had to carry out the confiscation process…
The Psy-Ops War on Preppers: This Has Become a Two-For-the-Price-of-One Crisis
PJ: I wrote about this in today’s article, a convenient way to demonize preppers and gun enthusiasts all at once. If you are not totally dependent on the government, then you are not in line with the status quo and as such you are now some kind of freak.
Pro-gun America quiet, contemplative in wake of Sandy Hook massacre
PJ: As terrible as this tragedy is, we cannot afford to stand by idly and let our rights be stripped away. We did not commit these heinous crimes, we are responsible citizens who exercise our God given (and Constitutionally supported) rights to keep and bear arms. If you lay down, you will get walked on.
The Cost of Spending: Federal government racking up huge tab
PJ: Lest we forget the fiscal cliff crisis we are facing, while the media has been focusing elsewhere we are less than 2 weeks away from the cliff.
Make Your Own Lotion Bars
PJ: This is a great “how to” article. If SHTF ever happened, I’m not sure what I would do without lotion and chapstick. I guess I would get used to not having it but finding ways to make my own surely would come in handy.
