Firstly, I offer my condolences to the families of the dead and injured. The shootings were senseless and are an indication of either mental illness or poor parenting. Anyone who would do such a thing to innocents is sick and deranged, and was likely never taught gun safety properly, or in a haophazard way..
The advocates for gun control were on the lamestream media doing interrviews with every anti-gun nut they could find, and many were advocating tougher backgroung checks and bans on assault rifles…. There was mention of keeping guns out of criminals hands, but I must point out the shooter was not a felon, and evidently his mother bought the guns legally. Kids today play video games which are violent and watch television shows and movies which distort the act of pointless killing and glorify violence. The problem lies not in gun ownership, but poor upbringing of these kids by parents.
I would remind people that guns do not kill people, people kill people. We have too many laws on the books now, and the idiots in your government would like nothing better than to disarm the public. The second Amendment is not about hunting, it is about the right to defend oneself against the threat of a tyranical government.. Do not allow the media and the talking heads to take more rights from the people of America!
