Shootmyash Adds Bang to ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ with Multi-Shooter Airsoft Targeting Application

EXTON, Pa. --(Ammoland.com)- Shootmyash, manufacturer and software publisher of wireless interactive target entertainment and training systems, announced today the beta release of ‘RPS Bang’ a live multi-shooter Airsoft targeting application inspired by Rock-Paper-Scissors (RPS).
Shootmyash co-founder Conor Gilbreath said, “Adapting RPS as an Airsoft game seemed like a natural. Classic RPS is a fast paced game of wits, speed, dexterity and strategy. As we researched RPS and all of its Asian and European variations it seems to be one of the oldest games used to reach decisions throughout the world.”
This game is also known by “Janken” or “JankenPon” in Japan, “Chi-fou-mi” in France, “Shoushiling” in China as well as other names from other counties. This ancient game may have originated in either Japan or China thousands of years ago.
The game combines the elements of psychological strategy against your opponent, whether in the same room or a distant city with the luck and accuracy of a shooting game.
We licensed the playful artwork “Master Rock Paper Scissors” from UK based pop artist/ illustrator Kelsey Heinrichs, for both the spot target decals for SmartAsh and the RPSB Scoreboard app. This art first appeared in Wired Magazine in July of last year about RPS.
