A Few Benefits
Most of the THRIVE products are single ingredients which is a plus because you can use them to create your own meals. You can use them every day and rotate through them instead of just letting them sit on a shelf until they expire.
THRIVE saves time and money because the foods taste so good. That’s because the single ingredients have no additives and preservatives and maintain 98%-99% of their original nutritional value.
If you’re looking for ready-made entrees, including soups, in pouches, check out THRIVE Express. The pouches make enough to serve about 2 people. Be aware that, because the entrees are multiple ingredients combined, they do have some additives and preservatives. These THRIVE Express meals and sides would be great for students living away at college.

A Few Impressions
However, my wife says she likes the THRIVE products we’ve tried. You can count that as a ringing endorsement because she’s fussy about storage food.
Here are a few of my thoughts on the THRIVE foods we’ve tried recently.
THRIVE Express Creamy Garden Vegetable Chowder – I had this for lunch with plenty left over for me later. It’s delicious. Veggies plumped up nicely. It was easy to fix from the pouch. It’s full of vegetables like green beans, sweet corn, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and celery.
THRIVE pineapple chunks – They’re better than candy–and better for you and me, too. I couldn’t stay out of them.
Strawberry slices – You can rehydrate the strawberries, or eat them as they are. I had a few in a bowl of ice cream, and they were wonderful. Put them in cold or hot cereal. By the way, they’re real strawberry slices, not flavored apple pieces, like you get in hot cereal packets you buy at the grocery store.
Sweet corn – It’s very good. It’s definitely better than canned corn, but not quite as good as frozen corn I’ve had. My wife said it was better the second day after it sat in the refrigerator. It’s definitely excellent for eating in a survival situation. Besides, at that point, who’s going to be picky about it?
Green beans – These tasted every bit as good as frozen green beans you’d buy at the grocery store.
Peach drink – It’s good. I’m not a big fan of peach flavor, but it wasn’t too sweet or overpowering. THRIVE drinks are vitamin fortified and contain real fruit. Mix it with tea and have your own peach tea blend.
10 Grain Pancake Mix – We’re not big pancake eaters, but they’re a treat now and then. My wife says THRIVE pancake mix is as easy to use as any other mix. She added a little more water than the instructions called for because she said the pancakes would have been too thick otherwise. They came out wonderful and tasted great. She plans to make waffles with the mix soon.
By the way, you can read Misty’s comments about the 10 Grain Pancake Mix here.
I’ll be trying more THRIVE foods as time goes on and will give my thoughts on them later. If any of the above items sound appealing to you, or if you want to explore what else is available, by all means, check out my online Shelf Reliance party today.
