Chad N Stacy asks: “I am wondering if there is a good way to make my own arrows period. I’m buying a crossbow and arrows are just so expensive, can anyone advise on this?”
Commenter 1: “#1..they are called bolts, not arrows…and if you can afford the crossbow then you need to afford the bolts.”
Commenter 2: “Not a good idea to make crossbow bolts! They will never hold up and can be extremely dangerous to shoot. I was a bow tec. for several years and have seen serious injuries from improperly matched arrows.”
Commenter 3: “You can get 6 bolts for $10 off Amazon.”
Commenter 4: “Ebay! I bought 100 bolts it only cost me 30. So look around 
”
