Chechen President: America to Blame for Actions of Bombers
AmmoLand Gun News
Washington DC - -(Ammoland.com)- Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov says the Tsarnaev brothers’ “American upbringing” is to blame for their actions, and he criticized the fact that police killed one of the brothers.
Regarding the Boston Marathon bombing, Kadyrov said, “Tragic events have taken place in Boston. A terrorist attack killed people. We have already expressed our condolences to the people of the city and to the American people.”
However, he firmly rejected any connection between the Tsarnaevs’ heritage and their actions:
“Any attempt to draw a connection between Chechnya and the Tsarnaevs–if they are guilty–is futile. They were raised in the United States and their attitudes and beliefs were formed there.”
“It is necessary to seek the roots of this evil in America,” he claimed.
Regarding the fact that police killed the older Tsarnaev brother, Kadyrov said: “It would be appropriate if he was detained and investigated, and circumstances and the extent of his guilt determined.” He criticized American authorities, claiming, “Apparently, the security forces needed to calm down the society by any means necessary.”
