July 03, 2013 – Some exciting stuff is in the works! I’ve been given the chance to partner up with a local retreat to host wilderness excursions and skills workshops at their location year-round. Since they are a camp/retreat, their busy months are June and July, but after that, the place is largely vacant during the year – particularly the wooded part. The property is on 100 acres bordering Lake Allatoona, and is just about perfect for most anything bushcraft related with the exception of hunting. The whole arrangement is just about perfect and is a direct answer to my prayer to find a place where I can use my interests to benefit others. Of course, there are still lots of things to work out, but provided everything is in place, the first workshop there is going to be late September for a father/son group.
With that, I have decided to move my blogging home over to blog.natrevga.com. Topically, the content will be very similar but with the addition of discussion related to nature and Christian beliefs. I appreciate all the regular readers and commenters here, and please follow me on over!
