If you’re stuck near the ocean with access only to salt water you may want to give this a try. This simple desalination / desalinization, or desalinisation still removes salt from salt water and gives you potable water when you’re done. In this version I use 1 pot to boil water, aluminum foil totrap the condensation, which is then funneled through a hydration reservoir tube, down into a catchment container. A wet cloth is used to aid condensing of the steam.

This was my first try and it worked well, except for some escaping steam. Be responsible, be careful and have fun!
