Hello all -
I am sitting here in my living room thinking about the day I have planned tomorrow. Will be getting up and going to church in the morning. At 2:00pm I meet with a preparedness group which I am a member. At 3:30 I have to be at the Crossfit box(aka gym) where they are wanting me to start coaching an MMA Circuit Training class. Once that is done need to go to the grocery store, buy a Christmas tree, and hang some decorations on the house and in the yard. It’s going to be busy. The point of all this is I am going to be driving all over the place – probably not unlike most of you. This time of year people are traveling, shopping, visiting friends and family, as well as normal things like work.
Here is the deal: Be careful! There is no good time of the year to get in an accident but due to the traffic increase in many areas the chances are higher now. So – keep an eye out for other drivers, try to have some patience – and please – I beg you – do NOT text while driving.
You know many of us prepare for larger, regional disasters like hurricanes, tornado’s, winter storms and worst. It would be a real shame having spent so much time, money, and effort preparing for something in the future only to kill yourself because you want to text – “I’m on the way home honey.”
It’s just not worth it . Be careful out there folks.
