Residents of Michigan and Maine are still suffering from the winter storm that dumps massive amounts of snow on them last weekend.
Currently MI has 114K residence without power; ME has 36K residences without power. Power loss emergency plans should be in full force right now for these areas.
The US Shelter system is also in full operations in these states with 5 shelters open in MI and 9 open in ME.
Both Michigan and Maine power loss was well over 200k each. The good news is that most power will be restored this weekend.
